My master's diploma, at the Faculty of Multimedia Communication at PJATK orbited around the phenomenon of the digital prosthesis of the human body, commonly known as the avatar. We live in an age of intensive technology development, immersive communication will most likely become a reality in the next few years, hence the conclusion that avatars may someday fulfill an essential function while giving their owners almost endless possibilities of visual personalization of their digital body. In my graduation project, I became a kind of Avatar Body Shop, a speculative service that would offer the creation of avatars at the request of people in the future. After interviewing four of my friends to determine what they would like their bodies to look like so that they would like to identify with them.
